By now the trajectory is familiar: You scratch together the wherewithal to start a food company, perhaps selling at first in one of the city’s open street markets, then setting up a truck and finally, if all goes well, opening a more permanent store or a stand in an indoor food court. Los Viajeros, opening in Turnstyle on Friday, is the work of Caitlyn Napolitano and Carlos Dacosta. The couple has a weekday food truck, serving Latin specialties, stationed in Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens. The Turnstyle menu will be the same, including tacos filled with Cuban-style ropa vieja, chorizo quesadillas, and fish burritos.

Believe it or not, thousands of riders have rated hundreds of stations on forums like Yelpand Google, considering factors like cleanliness and token booth clerk personality. While the reviews aren’t verified, they can indicate a station’s relative popularity.
Crunching the numbers from Yelp and Google, and disregarding the new Second Avenue line, I was surprised to find a standout: Manhattan’s 59th St.-Columbus Circle station at the southwest corner of Central Park. While most stops average two or three stars out of five, Columbus Circle averages four or five.
